Date your Pad is available
Your pad is available from 1st July each year until the following June.
Pad Furniture and Fittings
All Pads are well decorated with good quality furniture, soft furnishings and carpets. We follow a regular programme of redecoration and replacing furnishings to ensure properties always look smart.
BEDROOMS are furnished with double beds, adequate hanging space, bedside cabinet, chest of drawers, desk and work chair.
LOUNGES have comfortable modern sofas (many leather) or easy chairs, storage , coffee tables, tv tables/TV points & mirrors
KITCHENS have fully fitted modern units with cookers, microwave, fridge, freezer, & washing machine. Tumble dryer where appropriate. Also cleaning tools & vacuum cleaners
Pad Gardens
You will find outside patio furniture and a BBQ to use. Basic garden tools are also provided
Pad Comfort
Energy Proficiency Certificates (EPC's) are available. Ours are all in highest band sensibly attainable, for traditional style houses,because;-
Modern condensing boilers supply gas central heating and instant hot water. These are more efficient and help to keep the cost of your bills down.
Double-glazing ensures optimum comfort and quietness.
All properties have recently been upgraded with extra roof and cavity wall insulation to latest standards.
Pad Technology
A phone line is connected to your property. Internet router(wireless) facilities can be supplied, to enable broadband to be used in the property , although your internet package now normally provides one for you. Check with your provider
TV points are provided in each bedroom and lounge
Pad Utilities
You are responsible for gas, electric, phone and water charges. You will normally be exempt from Council Tax providing you are all students.
Pad Safety and Security
There is a house info pack provided, which includes what to do in emergency and how facilites in house works. Please make sure you read it.
Current gas safety & electrical safety NICEIC certificates are displayed.
Smoke detectors are wired in to the mains supply. Fire blankets are provided in kitchens
A security key system is installed for the front and back doors
Ground floor rooms at the front of properties are fitted with blinds for extra privacy. Outside lighting is fitted where necessary
Pad Convenience
You will find a notice board in each property for messages and maintenance requests
A house information folder is supplied showing specific details of how to use equipment
